I’m JoAnne, founder of The House of Doodle—and, more importantly around here, Dog Mom to two Aussiedoodles, Roxie and Domino.

They are part of just about everything. 

The quiet mornings. The car rides. The muddy paws. The couch cuddles. The suspicious silence that usually means someone has locked himself in the bathroom.

And, like so many dog people, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The House of Doodle grew from that kind of life.

I wanted to create home fragrance that felt beautiful in a thoughtfully styled home without pretending that real homes are perfect.

Because ours certainly isn’t. There are dog toys on the floor, blankets claimed by four-legged family members, treats tucked into cabinets, and usually at least one dog following me from room to room.

And that became the heart of the brand.

Our candles are inspired by the everyday moments dog people know so well—the zoomies, the walks, the biscuit stealing, the gotcha days, the puppy celebrations, and all of the little routines that somehow become some of our favorite memories.

We believe a beautiful home can still be a home where dogs live fully, play loudly, and leave paw prints behind.

Because home isn’t really about everything being perfectly in place.

It’s about who is there with you.

So come in. Sit. Stay awhile.

Just check the chair first. There's probably a dog already sitting in it.
