The Season of Gathering

There is something about the first hint of autumn that makes us turn toward home.

The windows stay open a little longer in the afternoon. A favorite throw finds its way back over the arm of a chair. Apples appear in a bowl on the kitchen counter, dinner becomes just a bit more leisurely, and suddenly we are thinking about who we might invite over.

Autumn has always felt like the season when a house becomes a home again.

Not because everything is perfectly arranged. Quite the opposite.

It is the season of shoes by the back door, glasses left on the coffee table, something simmering in the kitchen and one more chair pulled up because someone decided to stay for dinner.

At Daphne Darling, those are the moments we love most.

We believe beautiful living isn't about creating rooms that are too precious to enjoy. It is about creating spaces that make people want to linger.

A New Season at Daphne Darling

This autumn is especially meaningful to us because it marks the beginning of Daphne Darling.

Our first seasonal collection was created around the feeling of a home in early fall—warm, welcoming and just beginning to change.

Apple Darling brings the brightness of crisp apple and autumn pear into the kitchen.

Golden October has the delicious warmth of pumpkin soufflé and vanilla cream.

Holiday House fills the room with harvest apple and golden spice.

And Crimson Woods carries the season a little deeper, with crimson berries and evergreen woods.

Each fragrance has its own personality, but together they tell the same story:

Come in. Stay awhile.

The Beautiful Part

Perhaps that is what we love most about autumn.

It reminds us that beautiful spaces were never meant simply to be admired.

They were meant to be lived in.

To hold long conversations and Sunday dinners. Birthday cakes and impromptu cocktails. Quiet mornings and noisy evenings. People we have known forever and people we are only beginning to know.
